CLASSES

These are the classes available for the 12 Hours of ATV America.

Class Name: Pro
Entry Fee: $1,000.00

Max Teams Allowed: 30
Purse: Maxxis $30,000 and participation awards for all finishers!
Elligibility: 2/3 of the team's riders must have raced in the pro class in at least one GNC, GNCC, ITP QuadCross, SCORE, Formula One Pro Quad Stadium, MAXXIS 6 Hours of ATV America, 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux, MAXXIS Winter Olympics, or Huevos Dirt Riot event. If 2/3 of your team has not competed in any of the above in this calendar year and you still wish to compete in the pro class please call us and we will consider your team's pro caliber status.


Class Name: A
Entry Fee: $300.00

Description: For those riders just shy of professional status.
Max Teams Allowed: 30
Purse: $3000 purse, contingency and participation awards for all finishers.
Elligibility: For those riders just shy of professional status.Teams are not eligible if any of the team's riders raced in a pro GNC, GNCC event this calendar year.


Class Name: B
Entry Fee: $300.00

Description: For riders just starting their ATV racing careers, but definitely not for the first time racers.
Max Teams Allowed: 30
Purse: Contingency and participation awards for all finishers.
Elligibility: 2/3 of the team's riders must have raced in at least one B class GNC, GNCC, ITP QuadCross, SCORE, Formula One Pro Quad Stadium, Maxxis 6 Hours of ATV America, Maxxis Winter Olympics. The team is not eligible if any of the team's riders raced in an A class at any GNC, GNCC, WORCS or SCORE events this year. In addition, the team is not eligible if any of the team members raced in any pro class ATV race this calendar year.


Class Name: Utility Expert
Entry Fee: $200.00

Description: For utility ATV racers with racing experience.
Max Teams Allowed: 20
Purse: Contingency and participation awards for all finishers.
Elligibility: Utility class definition determined as originally equipped with racks from the manufacturer. (Kawasaki's V-Force is therefore not eligible). All of the team members must have ATV racing experience.


Class Name: Industry
Entry Fee: $200.00

Description: Riders within the ATV industry compete head to head.
Max Teams Allowed: 20
Purse: Contingency and participation awards for all finishers.
Elligibility: 2/3 of the team's riders must be employed by the team name and the team name must be involved in the motorcycle and ATV industry. In addition all three riding members of the team must have some racing experience.


Class Name: +30
Entry Fee: $200.00

Description: For riders 30 years old and over with racing experience.
Max Teams Allowed: 30
Purse: Contingency and participation awards for all finishers.
Elligibility: Each riding member of the team must be over 30 years old. If one member of the team is found to be under 30, the team will be disqualified. A rider is considered eligible if his or her 30th birthday falls on any month during this current year.


Class Name: Youth (13-15)
Entry Fee: $200.00

Description: Each rider must be at least 13 years old and not yet 16 years old. Ages are according to the race date. ATV must be 200cc or greater. Each rider must have proven race experience in order to be eligible. Race result print outs, magazine articles or web pages are sufficient as race experience proof. There will be Internet access at sign up.
Max Teams Allowed: 20
Purse: Contingency and participation awards for all finishers.
Elligibility: Each rider must be at least 13 years old and not yet 16. However if a team rider did indeed compete in a 6 Hours of ATV America events this year and has since turned 16, we will allow that rider to compete at this year’s 12 Hours event.


Teams are entered on a first-come-first-serve basis determined by online entry. All team entries will be e mailed a letter from the Maxxis 12 Hours of ATV America committee of either acceptance or denial within a few days of online submission. If your team is denied you will be reimbursed your entry fee immediately. Teams will be responsible for running the correct number plate background color as stated above. Updog Industries will have all colors as well as numbers for sale at the event. Number plates should be attached to your ATV's rear fenders, front push bar, rear grab bar and front nose piece. Race numbers will be issued in a first come first serve basis. Numbers 1-10 will be reserved for the team name of the prior year's top ten overall finishers. Teams will be given glow sticks at sign in. A rear tail light is suggested but not necessary if the team's glow stick is in place and working. Additional glow sticks will be for sale at the event.

Teams will only be allowed a 15 foot wide, 100 foot long pit spot. The race will go on regardless of even the foulest weather - be prepared!
